Technological Innovations for Citizen Environmental Participation: Case of Poland

Citizen science is a social innovation that has recently been recognized by initiatives as possible tool to increase participation, build knowledge, and raise civic awareness. In order work efficiently, citizen requires the adoption of proper technological solutions critical mass people. According Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology, people are more likely adopt technology compatible with their norms, values, beliefs. our research, we studied Polish environmental using in diagnose potential implement projects participation. We interviewed 28 board representatives, managers, initiators movements conducted desk research 65 Poland. Every solution was recorded later categorized. The diagnostic analysis advancement grassroots Poland reveals full for launching not yet reached. First all, recognition approach still low. Secondly, operate standard easily accessible solutions, rarely developing tailored advanced technologies would enable be involved projects.
